Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of VAO posts. Eligible candidates can apply online for 2342 Village Administrative Officer vacancies. Last date tp apply online is before 15th April 2014. Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of SSLC public examination or its equivalent examination and must have knowledge of Tamil.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be at least 21 years for VAO posts. The upper age limit is 30 years for General candidates, 40 years for SC/ ST/ SC (A), MBC/ DC, BC, BCM & DW category candidates. Age relaxation is applicable and it will be calculated as on 01-07-2014.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 125/- (Examination Fee Rs.75/- + Cost of Application Rs. 50/-) for Preliminary examination and Rs. 125/- once again for Main Written Examination. Application should be paid through Online or Offline mode by Net Banking, using Credit Card or Debit Card. In case of offline mode candidates need to pay through Challan form in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office.
