National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT )Institute has five departments of studies namely Foundry Technology, Forge Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering and Applied Science and Humanities. Minimum Educational Qualifications:  The candidates must ensure their eligibility for various posts notified before applying for a specific post. The eligibility criteria for various posts are given as follows.

A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.
Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s /equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology

Application/Exam Fee: Demand Draft of Rs 500/-, drawn in favour of “NIFFT, Ranchi” payable at any nationalized bank in Ranchi for each application (50% in case of SC / ST & fully exempted for women & PwD candidates).
